The results are in for the Second Life Resident Choice Awards. My congratulations to all of the great Second Life creators and locations who were selected!
However, I cannot help but notice that not only was Curio Obscura not selected as the Favorite Place for Steampunk or for the Robot Revolution… but Curio Obscura was not selected for ANY category!
Truly, I find this result incomprehensible. How dare the Residents of Second Life fail to acknowledge my greatness?!
Residents! Do you not understand the meaning of the word “Obey”? Are you unaware of the fact that, in addition to selling many unique and amusing products, the Curio Obscura main store is armed with a massive claw, buzzsaw, and giant robotic fire-breathing sculpture of my own face? Do you not comprehend that the numerous legs attached to the bottom of the shop means that I can launch my assault against the mainland AT ANY MOMENT?! Must I be forced to seize control of all Happy Missiles and hold the grid for ransom?
I’ll do it. You know I will.
Next year – get it right, residents. You will not be warned a second time.

It makes my heart flutter and swoon when talented creators threaten me with weapons of dazzling destruction. 😀

I certainly would’ve dropped my 2 cents into the Curio Obscura penny press, were Lindens able to vote. Hang in there! The Resident Choice awards are in beta, as it were….the word hasn’t spread far and wide just yet. 🙂
